O.K. I wasn’t thrilled when he used the words “grunt work” to describe the copywriting work he outsources to VAs and other contractors. But, I did like the way Michael Fortin discusses the value we bring. He feels that you need to outsource and you need to be open to the new ideas and perspectives your Virtual Assistant can bring to the project. From viewing his other videos I can see he is a big proponent of the 4 hour workweek which, when it came out on the market, gave a huge boost to our VA business. Watch this video and then get your client’s to watch it too. What do you think? Do you give your clients many new ideas or do you prefer just letting them tell you what they want and then doing it exactly per their requirements?

I feel if I am going to work with my clients as opposed to working for them, I feel it’s my obligation to present them with information and ideas that may help them to reach their goals. In regards to Tim Ferriss, I’m glad he gave our industry recognition; however, he is a proponent of outsourcing overseas. I’m in America.
