Earn Some Extra Income Referring Products to your Clients
By michelle |Sometimes it can take me a while to catch on to what everyone else is doing. I can’t believe I spent about 5 years signing my clients up with Web hosting and missed out on hundreds of dollars of free, passive income. If you are in a position to recommend products such as hosting to your client you need to take advantage of Affiliate Marketing. First I’ll explain what I am talking about then I will show you a demo of how to sign up for these extra sources of income.
What is Affiliate Marketing? In simple terms, affiliate marketing is where you refer visitors from your Website to a merchant’s Website. You earn commissions when the visitors you refer complete some type of action on a merchant’s Website. For example, you may earn a commission if the visitor you refer makes a purchase, completes a lead form, or downloads some software.
If your client needs Web hosting, for example, for a Web site you created you will most likely refer them to a host you have already used and like. And when you do this the way I will show you, you can earn around $50 just for the referral. Below is a demo for how to set this up. I will demonstrate with a company called Hostgator because they are my favorite Web hosting service.
