Become a Pay Per Click Expert with these Free Videos
I am so psyched I just learned about these free videos from Google. I have a client who has just asked me to set up a Pay Per Click campaign for them and I have been really reluctant in the past to take on Adwords campaigns because if you don’t do it correctly you can cost your client a lot of money. I guess I am making the assumption that everyone knows what PPC is and a lot of VAs may not of heard of it. Pay Per Click is simply the paid advertisements that appear on the very top and far right of Google or Yahoo or MSN when you do a search using keywords. People bid for placement in those areas. Then, when someone clicks on the ad they pay a set amount for every click. My first really good tutorial came from some video coaching I got at Andrewanddaryl.com (they are that Australian couple that made it big with PPC advertising their e-books). Even though their coaching and tutorials were excellent I have been looking for more details on how to set up a really efficient campaign. Soon I will be putting up a BANS site for a customer of mine and it is perfectly suited for Pay Per Click advertising. I really believe if you can get really good at this you could charge a lot for this specific Virtual Assistant skill. So check out the link to the video below. What a great niche for a virtual assistant “Pay per click virtual assistant”. This brings up a great topic Michelle and a great tutorial – thanks! I am really excited about the opportunites that Internet Marketing in general bring to the table for VAs to specialize in. I came across this great training site specifically for VAs called http://www.vaclassroom.com it looks like they will offer Internet Marketing training for VAs that is current and that will remain current as time goes on…

Frances, I agree. I would love to really master this skill because so few VAs offer this. By the way, I took a look at the video you link to above. It looks like it will be great training for VAs who want to specifically promote themselves in the field of Internet Marketing. I will ask the owner of the site if they would like me to do a demo when the training is ready.

The best resource I’ve found is Adwords for Dummies. Really. It’s highly recommended by Ken McCarthy from The System Seminar.
